Sometimes it’s good to use hashtag that connects your project to a wider movement - then use popular hashtag. If you wish that your project posts would not be mixed with any other posts, then find a unique hashtag. You can use https://ritetag.com/ website to get instant hashtag suggestions and it will show if anyone is using the hashtag you chose.
