In this playlist, you will learn how to build and prepare your group for a youth exchange. Having young people involved from the very beginning helps them develop a sense of belonging and ownership of the project. It will also bring a sense of quality to the project and a chance for leaders to experience youth work good practice.
It is recommended that all partners begin from involving young people at the very start of the project, regardless of whether they are a sending or a hosting group.

Mozilla X-Ray Goggles makes it easy to see and remix the code behind your group’s favorite web pages. The best part: you don’t need any prior coding experience! Just activate Goggles, click on a section,and edit. Then, share your remixes with others. It is free to use!
Ask your group to break up into smaller teams and using X-Ray Goggles to “hack” (ok, remix) a news website to communicate about their future experience of youth exchange: “Imagine, you are coming back after a youth exchange and read online about your experiences…”
Or you can ask each member to create and present their personal profile website based on an existing webpage of their celebrity star. Their websites can represent who they are, what they like and what ideas they have for a youth exchange.
